Avon's New technology has simply made their lipsticks a huge hit. Their range offers lipsticks in richer vibrant colours to cater for women that are bold and for those subtle colours.
Their ingredients are all natural using shea butter,omega oil, artic berry and Vitamin E to simply nourish your lips and keeping the colour in for longer.
The lipstick feels so smooth and easily softens my lips.
The packaging I think is great as it comes in a black tube with a clear view window on top so you are able to see the colour of the lipstick. So there is no need to waste your money on a colour you think it and ends up a totally different shade.

I love this whole line of lipsticks.
Beyond Pink it's a beautiful summery colour that gives you a youthful and sassy look.
I was reading about make up and the amount of chemicals different brands of make up use that can affect our body negatively and AVON lipsticks were listed as one of the safest in the whole world.

Avon launched their new absolute color range and in this months booklet for just R180 for both the gloss and lipstick it is a real steal. I purchased a couple of samples in the previous booklet here is my thoughts on the Coffee bean one;
The coffee bean is a light brown color which is suitable for daytime wear. It is perfect for the office or a lunch time date.
This is my absolute favorite lipstick. It goes on smooth and makes my lips feel soft and moisturized. It has a shine, so you don't need gloss. I still use gloss of course, as I like the extra shine. This lipstick is definitely worth it.
It lasts also pretty good for a non permanent lipstick.

WOW! I absoluteley looove this lipstick! The quality, AND the colour!! It is so soft and smooth when applied and stays on for a very long time without drying out. It is also such a beautiful soft and natural colour, and is perfect for daywear.

I got mine in the shades "berry bold" and "ruby shock". I absolutely love the creamy texture of this lipstick as well as the vibrant color. I just need one swipe of it because it is that pigmented. It feels nice and smooth on my lips and had a pleasant and subtle scent. I especially love the shade "ruby shock" . On my lips it looks rich and intense and so sensual! This is quite long lasting and affordable, another winner from Avon!

The boldometer hasn't got nothing on me. I rock bold anytime, anyplace and anyhow. Berry bold is just too perfect for me. This is not a dash of colour but a splash and I'm loving it. A great way to start the Spring season. Well my boldiness has sprung out and I dare you to stop me because I'm unstoppable. My Spring love has got to be the berry bold lipstick from Avon, infact it's my love for all seasons? Besides the colour I love that the lipstick has a shine to it. It sits perfectly on my lips. Perfect for daytime or nighttime. I dare you to be bold and get the Berry bold Avon Ultra colour lipstick.

I was 1 of the lucky ladies that were chosen to review #AvonDareToBe bold products. Big & Daring Mascara & lipstick!whoop I was so excited. my experience with these 2 products is: I was never a fan of a mascara because of my lashes they are so curly, and every time I try 2 put it on its always get messy,so I was very excited about this new mascara from Avon. Guess what it works perfectly on my terrible lashes now they look much,much better this mascara its hours volume with no clumps,flakes or smudges.Curved brush with multi-shaped bristle captures ever lash.wedge shaped bristle comb lashes for clump-free volume,it gives a mega volume.innorative collagen -enriched cream-gel formula is smooth & buildable,water-resistant the curved brush separates yr fringe combs through them declump & fills in a gaps 4 a lust-lash landscape.thumbs up Avon yr mascara is the Bomb. The lipstick I got it was max mocha(dark brown) not the colour I would choose but being bold isn't just about bright,I had to get out in my comfort zone & try the new neutral trend, barely there sophisticated shades capture the minimalist look of modern glamour. I believe that being bold isn't just about makeup shade, its about an attitude, so I jazzed it up , I put mac mocha 1st, then on top red lipstick also from Avon.50% more pigments packed in every lipstick.I bought 2 lipsticks 4 R120!!thumbs up Avon yr products are very good & thanks BB for the opportunity!!

Thank you Beauty Bulletin and Avon!! I was one of the lucky recipients to receive the Avon Dare To Be Bold Mascara and Lipstick. I would normally go for the "not too much make -up" look (I am 55 years old)so I tend not to overdo. I thought I'll give the bold look a try and was quite impressed with the results. Great for and evening out. I have used Avon products before and will definitely continue to do so. I was also impressed that the prices are also quite reasonable compared to other products. Avon Rocks!!

I received my Dare to be bold mascara and mocha lipstick, I must say the lipstick is very matte and nice too i did dare with the mocha color but i think it looks better more on a light skinned person. as for the mascara it is light and nice to add on your cosmetic bag. Impressed and thankful!

I bought 2 lipstick frm Avon for R120(special)colours red & pink,I had a problem with my lips when I put lipstick they always get dry & I don't like the look.so I try #Avon dare2beBold,I love the way that it leaves my lips soft & shiny.I'm so inlove with these lipstick,I want the orange colour now,orange is 1 of my favourites,I'm still waiting 2 the sales lady my order.Big up Avon!!

I just love this product first of all the casing is beautiful so elegant and you would think that it was loreal or Revlon. Secondly the colour is not one that I would normally wear but it actually looked great once applied and did give me that BOLD feeling lol. The colour I was given was Pink Punch and wow amazing .So easy to apply creamy and thick excellent quality. I would love to try more colours in this Ultra Bold range , this is a statement lipstick for sure. Just love it a worthy buy with a great price range and quality .

I have very sensitive eyes and are always careful what I use on my eyes, as some products tend to have a burning effect in my eyes. Not with Avon though - you can be certain that it would give you burning eyes. The brush of the Mascara is very unique and cover every single hair without clotting it. With most of the mascara's that I've tried before, there is always a bit of smearing at the end of the day. So I was very surprised that this one doesn't do that and at the end of the day, my eyelashes still look beautiful without the black mascara ring under my eyes. Overall I would say that this mascara is the best mascara on the market, and everybody should try it, because then you will use it for ever! This mascara is everything I've wanted from a mascara and more!

Yay...I got to review the Avon Big & Daring Volume Mascara and the Ultra colour Bold lipstick. The price of both these items is wonderful. The mascara for this month costs R64. 95 and the lipsticks are 2 for R120...really cheap.
The mascara doesn't feel thick and doesn't clump on application. It did however smudge when applied, but that could be because I'm not used to the brush. I did find the brush and container too big, though it did deliver on its promise of volume.
The lipstick colour that I received was Bright Nectar and it just didn't suit me. I did like the feel of it. It moisturised my lips and it also delivered lots of colour in 1 application. At this price I will definitely buy it in colours more suited to my skin colour.

This Amazing bold lipstick came in an about 8.5cm by 2cm rectangular hot pink and black box. The box has ingredients , the colour name and number/code of the lipstick written in both white and hot pink.
The actual lipstick packaging is black, shiny and smooth 7cm rectangular case. Between the lid and the lipstick holder is a sliver band written AVON. The lid also has a clear/see through cap on the top where you can see the lipstick colour. When you open the lid you'll find that the lipstick is covered in a silver shiny case which is just beautiful. The case winds up like all lipstick cases. The lipstick is a Ruby Red colour and the stick is about 3cm long and about 1cm wide and has AVON written on it.
Texture/Scent:
The Lipstick just glides on my lips effortlessly. It is very smooth and has a cherry sherbet smell to it.
Advantages:
*It is a BOLD lip colour
*Last Long so there is no nee to keep re-applying
*One Coat is enough to get the bold look
*It doesn't smudge which is just AMAZING. Once it's on it's on to stay. It almost stains the lips.
*Easy to remove
Disadvantages:
Well I haven't found any so far. Have only worn it twice as I have just received it and it's just been THAT AMAZING.
Tips:
With a bold lip colour make sure that the rest of you make up is simple almost natural as the colour speaks for it's self. You don't wana look like a clown now.

I am just in love with this lip colour. It is THE BEST RED EVER! It looks AMAZING on my lips and is just the PERFECT colour for my skin tone. I mean I wana wear it all day everyday even in my sleep. Yes, in my sleep it is just that amazing. I didn't think I would like it until I put it on and I would just recommend it to anyone who loves a GOO RED LIP. On the BOLDOMETER I rate I'm on level 10 on being bold #AvonDareToBe we've gotta risk it at times :)
It is easy to remove and doesn't leave any lipstick stains on you lips after you removed it. It doesn't have a shiny look once you put it on which I love. It is like a dry look (matte). When I have it on I just feel like I am movie star or a Cover Girl haha. But overall I LOVE it and I am sure you will love it too.

I have received the Ruby shock Avon Ultra Colour Bold Lipstick and the Avon Big& Daring Volume Mascara. I am not a mascara fan ,but in the after pic . I have used the mascara.
I love my new lipstick shade and it enhances my face and compliment my complexion. This is the first time that I have tried a bold,bright lipstick shade . I am glad that Beauty Bulletin has taken me out of my #COMFORTZONE.

I was lucky enough to be chosen to review Avon's new Ultra Colour Bold lipstick and Big and Daring volume mascara. I received the mascara in black and the lipstick in Ruby Shock.
The Big and Daring volume mascara gave me wonderful volume. I was a bit deterred by the size of the brush when I opened it, but the curve of the brush made for an easy application and got every lash. The mascara still looked good at the end of the day and didn't smudge or flake. I am a mascara addict and this one is definitely going on my list of favorites. The lipstick was long lasting as well. The colour is so vibrant and I only had to touch up after lunch.The lipstick didn't cause any dryness for me, which is a big bonus. I would love to try this lipstick in the Vivid Violet shade.

Avon has created a fabulous lipstick that glides in a creamy manner i don't have to apply layers to have the effective look, it didn't dry/crack my lips or leave a whitish residue. Im a fan of red shades but Mocha is my new shade.
im so in love with extended lashes the mascara gives in less than 3applications compared to other brands. It is easy to remove at night, doesn't give a heavy n dry effect on the lashes.

When I heard I was chosen to be a part of the review group for the Avon Big & Daring Volume Mascara and the Avon Ultra Colour Bold Lipstick! I could'nt wait to receive and try the products.
The more anxious I was the longer the products took to arrive - I later found out, that the post office are on strike - go figure!!
Nevertheless, when I did receive the products, I open my package immdiately and used my lipstick as soon as I got into the car!!.
My daughter noticed the colour immediately and commented "Mum your lipstick is so dark - but it looks kinda nice and different" so I knew that I had achieved what AVON had intended to do with this lipstick range.
I loved my colour - MAX MOCHA. Daring for me definitely, but I ended up wearing to 2 functions over the weekend. The lipstick has a matt finish and perhaps because the colour is so dark, it had staying power, It goes on easily and does not feel dry on the lips, like some matte lipsticks feel.
The Big & Daring Volume Mascara which I received in Black, I absolutely LOVED!!!. I love what I call "Minnie mouse" lashes. Ultra long and thick, so I loved the length and volume this mascara gave my lashes. I also liked the fact that it did not irritate my sensitive eyes and it's a lovely liquidy mascara and not the dryish one. The curved brush is also nice to use as it contours with the curvature of the eyelash - Gosh I hope I'm explaining myself properly.

I also attended the world record attempt by avon, so I was thoroughly spoilt, I got a mascara, which gives massive coverage in one stroke, mad props avon!! And lipstick in Ruby shock; coral burst, and vivid violet, the lipsticks glide on a smoothly and stay put, no feathering or bleeding outside the lines, I have done a swatch, but not outing pictures of my face or a video as I have just mag massive facial surgery, the colour payoff in the new avon lipstick range is huge, and a tiny amount goes a long way.

I think Avon products are a well-kept secret. Their products are reasonably priced, compared to most in-store products and maintain an incredibly high quality. They are always coming up with different and innovative ways to make red carpet ready makeup, accessible to everyone.
Like many girls, I love makeup and apply liberally every morning. However I find by the time I’m ready for my first cup of coffee at work, my lipstick is fighting to survive…I don’t know what it is, but lipstick tends to disappear off my lips, not too long after I have applied it. My friends will tell you that I have eaten it along with my breakfast or I talk too much! But am I right in saying, it should at least last the morning?

I was ecstatic to find out I had been selected for the Avon BOLD Lipstick review. I eagerly awaited the post and ripped open the package as soon as it arrived.
I think Avon products are a well-kept secret. Their products are reasonably priced, compared to most in-store products and maintain an incredibly high quality. They are always coming up with different and innovative ways to make red carpet ready makeup, accessible to everyone.
Like many girls, I love makeup and apply liberally every morning. However I find by the time I’m ready for my first cup of coffee at work, my lipstick is fighting to survive…I don’t know what it is, but lipstick tends to disappear off my lips, not too long after I have applied it. My friends will tell you that I have eaten it along with my breakfast or I talk too much! But am I right in saying, it should at least last the morning?
Well I was thrilled to discover that the Avon ‘Pink Punch’ I tried out, did exactly that – It lasted! It was creamy and nourishing when applying and glided across my lips effortlessly, creating a shiny WOW Pink excitement. I really like how it kept my lips moisturized and well coated for longer than my other lipsticks. So I give this product a 10 out of 10!

I am crazy, about makeup that is! But even for me the new range of Avon Bold and Daring Range really pushed the boundaries in terms of delivering vivid colours that really make your best features stand out.
I was sent the Avon Big & Daring Volume Mascara in the Black shade and it was really outstanding. The bottle was large and the brush really easy to use and efficient. It delivered a lovely coat of mascara to all my lashes with ease in just one stroke.
The lipstick that I received was also not a shade I would usually go for in Bright Nectar but I was unusually surprised. It worked well with my olive complexion giving me a nice peaches and cream effect. Perfect for spring and it had that nice creamy texture that glided on well and kept my lips moisturised.
All in all this was a perfect combination at a decent price to really enhance my natural features.

It is safe to say that looks can be decieving! I recieved the lipstick in Pink Punch. When I opened the lipstick the color looked quite ordinary and not bold at all. Well what a pleasant surprise I got when I applied it! One application and it looked like a million dollars! The quality of avon lipstick is extrodinary! I applied it only once and it stayed on even after many cups of coffee! Normally I do not wear bright colors - in fact I wear very little make-up as a rule when I go to work. So when I arrived at work with my lipstick on I recieved so many compliments and my colleages were very impressed! In fact I was so happy with my lipstick that I now keep it in my handbag for quick applications!

I've always been a fan of Avon mascaras, and this one certainly did not disappoint. I have fairly fine lashes and the volume and length this mascara gave me was simply amazing. Its on special in this month's brochure for a giveaway price of R64.95 (Regular price R129.95). I will definitely be stocking up. The curved brush grabs every lash and delivers clumo free volumised lashes. It wears pretty well too with no flaking. All in all I would say this is an amazing mascara. I love it!!!

I was so excited to have been chosen as part of the Avon review club. I received the Avon ultra colour bold lipstick in vivid violet. The lipstick is really long lasting and it stains the lips and lasts forever. It is also very moisturising and makes my lips super soft. Will definitely be buying from this range again.
I also received the big and daring mascara. It has a curved wand which ensures easy application. The best for me is that it is totally clump free I have longer lashes but this mascara made it longer and thicker.

To be BOLD, or not to be BOLD, that is the question!
Whenever you are given the option to be BOLD, take it! I was very lucky to be chosen to review Avon’s BOLD lipstick, and received the shade Coral Burst plus the Big and Daring Volume Mascara in Brown Black to try out.
The colour of the lipstick is absolutely fantastic. It is an orangey red, and you can never go wrong with a good red lip. The pigment is strong and the lipstick is moisturising, so even applying it over my somewhat winter-chapped lips, it glided on smoothly and didn’t looked cracked.
I loved the boldness of the colour and it definitely made me feel a BOLD on the boldometer! The lipstick also has a sweet fragrance to it and smells lovely when applied. True to Avon's promise, one swipe of the lipstick over your lips is all you need to create a vibrant look.
In fact, I felt so bold that I decided to do something a little daring – something that I only had the confidence to do due to the boldness of my lips. I had heard about a certain cab service in America that lets a regular Joe Soap become a taxi driver, and he can arrange through their app to drive you to your destination for a fee. This service has recently come to South Africa, and was very hesitant at first to use it as I was terrified that a serial killer would pick me up and I would never be seen again! But I threw caution to the wind as I started up the app and was assigned a random driver. As I waited in anticipation, I applied the awesome Avon Big and Daring Volume Mascara on my lashes and another layer of Avon Ultra Colour Bold Lipstick (not that I needed it but it felt so moisturising on my lips!) and made my way outside to meet my driver. Pleasantly surprised, my driver was a lovely man who took me to my destination quickly and safely without the faintest hint of kidnap or murder (bonus points!)
After the great experience with the taxi, I decided to test out the lipstick in another situation where I knew I would need the confidence that only comes from wearing a great, BOLD lipstick – having permanent eyeliner done! I had had permanent eyeliner done before, but I was really scared to get it done again. It can be quite painful and the idea of someone wielding a needle at my eyeball makes me more than a little anxious! Unfortunately I was not able to wear the awesome mascara as I was not allowed to wear any makeup around my eye for the procedure, but I nervously applied my Avon Ultra Colour Bold lippie and took one last look at my face before going in. As I saw how great I looked with beautiful blood red lips, my nerves started melting away and I just knew I would be ok – sore and puffy, but ok. I was not allowed to wear any makeup around my eyes for a couple of days after the procedure but that didn’t bother me, with lashings of Avon’s BOLD lipstick, everyone’s eyes were drawn to my lips and they didn’t notice that my eyes were red and puffy!
I love being BOLD with this lipstick and will definitely be getting more shades of this. There are 10 in total and I have two of them - the Coral Burst which is a orange-red colour and Vivid Violet which is an awesome purple colour. There are a good mix of pinks, reds, oranges, browns and purples to choose from - a shade to match any skin tone!
The mascara is also great - it has a curved applicator and goes on really well without any flaking or smudging throughout the day.
If you choose be BOLD, then show it with this great lipstick!

Well was I surprised to receive the Dare to be Bold mascara and lipstick. Firstly, the mascara is my new alltime favourite. I LOVE the bigger want. I thought that nobody will ever make a mascara again with a nice BIG want. I could not get use to that plastic applicator or the comb applicator with wich same of the mascara's comes out in the market, these days.
Secondly, the lipstaick was a AAAAAAA moment, I thought well, just my luck, when I receive two tester possiblities, I would only like one, at the most. I would never, EVER have thought to buy a nude, natural colour, but what a change, a GOOD change, i like the look. I immediatly contacted my AVON rep and order, JUST INCASE, another lipstick in the same colour, and well, with that price I ended up ordering 3. Thank you very must for introducing me to my new all time great, must haves.

I received the generous Bold and Daring goodies from Avon and BB last week. Boy do these push the boundaries and define a whole new level of bold!
The mascara I received in Black was in a generous sized tube. It was so easy to apply with the large brush, without clumping and remained remarkably in place the whole day without flaking. It really made my eyelashes look like they were full of volume and lengthier.
The Max Mocha shade of lipstick that I received did glide on beautifully and leave my lips quite moisturised. I found it a tad bit overpowering and it looked a bit gothic combined with my pale complexion. I wanted to look bold, not sinister so the second time I applied it I wanted to tone it down a bit. I therefore applied it with a light hand and some lipgloss. I was left with a look that sparkled and I was quite impressed overall.

I was sent a Ultra bold lipstick in the Max Mocha shade and while it was too neutral for my shade of skin it added volume and gave my lips the fuller look.

I was chosen to review the Avon ultra colour bold lipstick and the big and daring mascara thank you Avon and Beauty Bulletin for the opportunity. The lipstick is magnificent I loved putting in the feeling it gives you, like you can conquer the world ;). It is really well pigmented I got mine in the shade bare impact which is a rather natural look but is still a very vibrant color, very sexy and professional look. And the mascara was absolutely amazing its my personal favorite now, it lasts a very long time definitely waterproof and also very pigmented also the curved brush helps a lot. I would definitely be buying both again. I would say I am between divine and dramatic on the boldometer :D

What can I say?! Avon has done it yet again and brought out a wonderful product.
The mascara is amazing. It makes me lashes look fuller and longer and I only have to use one application, where I usually have to do about two or three to get the volume I would want.
It washes off easily as well and that is one thing I really have to have from a mascara as waking up with black eyes is not cool.
As for the lipstick, well I'm not always one to wear a lipstick, but with receiving the Bare Impact shade, it is awesome. It is a natural shade that I can wear with just about any colour eye shadow and it makes my lips look even more beautiful as well. It brings out the lines around my mouth and with me having a small mouth it is something that I really need.
Avon is really bringing out amazing products and I will suggest to anyone and everyone to go out and get there products. Well done Avon!!!

I loved the Ruby shock lipstick I was given to review. The colour is rich, deep and has a fantastic impact. The mascara was a bit disappointing and didn't really deliver great results for me. Will highly recommend the lipstick.

I received the Max Mocha. I love this lipstick, amazing colour. It is light and has a creamy texture.
Long lasting colour that doesn’t fade. It looks very expensive and I love the packaging. I am not afraid
to be different and unique. I will most definitely try the bold colours such as the reds. I feel very
confident and sexy. It is also very good value for your money. Would definitely recommend to anyone
to go and buy it and try if for yourself, you won’t be sorry. Avon Ultra Colour Lipstick here I come.

So instead I will do this written review! I received the Avon Ultra Colour Bold Lipstick in Bright Nectar! It is definitely a bold Colour and out of my comfort zone. Because of my skin tone, I do not think I could pull it off. That being said, I do love the smell of the lipstick (I wanted to eat my lips up) and the ease with which it glides onto my lips. It does not dry the lips and I do not need to add any lipgloss at all, that's how great it is.
I also got the Avon Big & Daring Volume Mascara in black brown and I LOVE it! The brush is curved and the bristles are long making it easy to apply, clump-free. The Colour looks more natural than the black which is what I normally buy. I would definitely recommend trying this mascara out.
So just try them, dare to be bold!

I am obsessed with this lipstick! I haven't been wearing lipsticks lately, because I just feel like non of them last and I have to reapply all the time PLUS I often find mat lipsticks to be drying, so I was so surprised to find that this is not at all the case with this lipstick. One coat gives amazing color, it stayed on my lips for hours and I love the creamy, vivid, mat color minus the drying effect! Get it!

I'm so happy to review this Avon Lipstick once again :) ...This is one of the product that was in the goodie bag we got at the #AvonDareToBe event last month.
I love the colour so much that it brightens my skin and it lasts long. It doesn't smudge, I love it especially when it comes to applying, it give that beautiful shine to your lips, I dont need a lipgloss with this lipstick. I can eat snacks, apples etc and its still stays, how great is that.

Talk about BOLDNESS indeed. Not so long ago i was introduced to boldness when it comes to colour on lips by Avon, Ooh boy did l love and enjoy the results. Now with the new Ultra colour Bold lipstick, i received a very odd colour and just the thoughts of walking around with it sent shivers down my spine - i received the Bright Nectar, it`s got an orange colour when you look at it, but somehow i fell in love with it with my first attempt. Boldness was unleashed, in application it gives you a nudish colour, leaving your lips looking naturally nourished, beautiful and inviting. Even my husband loves the shade. Thank you Avon for this trial and have already ordered two more shades from my representative (Pink punch and Rapid Rose). SO DARING!!!

I received a chocolate brown colour, i did dare but eish it did not suit me at all. My lips looked like i was smoking some kush or cigars maybe another color, I honestly think it suits light toned skin people.

I was sent these products by the wonderful beauty bulletin team. The colour ofthe lipstick product is max mocha and the big and daring volume mascara is black. To be perfectly honest I have never wore such a rich dark brown shade of lipstick before. However I was pleasantly surprised that the pigmentation of the cllour was rich and buildable on application. I applied one coat to my lower lip and blotted it with mytop lip thereafter I applied a second coat for an even darker colour. My lips are naturally quiet dark and I am plesantly pleased with the easy application and I would recommend this product toanyone who loves to experiment with colour. This product has allowed me to feel its okay to experiment with different colours and tones. It makes a bold statement. It lasts on average of 4 hours. Note that the time included me eating and drinking. All in all an excellent buy.

The colour was really dark. There were no clumps on my first application. There is a noticeably difference in eyelawh lenght after one coat. To get the best results rotate the brush while applying the mascara. I testedto see if it would smudge or flake and it doesn't great value for money

I was sent the Big & Daring Mascara in Black, and the Avon Ultra Colour lipstick in Max Mocha.
I was actually surprised. I would never wear such a "bold" colour.
Being fair skinned, it didn't even suit me much.
But this is the entire point of the challenge, right?
So I braced myself and put my best pout forward.
The pigmentation and colour pay off of this lipstick is phenomenal!
And applies like butter!
What shocked me the most was that when wearing this lipstick, my lips looked and felt super smooth.
And even those little lines on my lips kind of disappeared.
Not forgetting to mention that it is long lasting. What more could a woman ask for?
Moving on to the mascara.
My favourite makeup item would definitely be mascara. And I'm glad to have been given the opportunity to try this 1 out.
And boy am i thrilled!
1stly, I love the shape of the brush. It fits the angle of my eye so perfectly and makes application easier.
The formula is perfect, not too wet and not too dry.
And it doesn't clump.
1 coat is enough to give your eyes and lashes some va-va-voom.
But if you're feeling more daring, that 2nd coat won't hurt ;)
When Avon claimed it won't smudge or flake and can last up to 24 hours, I didn't think it was possible. ALL mascaras flake after some time.
But 1 night, I fell asleep without washing my face.
I didn't have any other makeup on, just mascara so I thought it wouldn't be such a big deal if i didn't wash it off.
At the same time putting the mascara to the test.
And wow! When i woke up, I kid you not, my eyelashes looked perfectly fresh, as if i had just applied my mascara.
No clumping, no flaking, no smudging.
Needless to say, this is now my new favourite mascara.

After waiting in eager anticipation for my Rapid Rose Ultra Colour Bold lipstick and Big and Daring volume mascara to arrive, I have used both products a number of times over the past couple of weeks. I am older (47) so am not entirely sure that ultra bold colour lipstick is me and the shade I selected, Rapid Rose, seems closer to the Bright Nectar in hue as it has a more corally hue, however I must say that I love the way it goes on and doesn't seem to dry out the lips... it also has reasonably good staying power.
As far as the mascara is concerned, I do have rather sensitive eyes and the mascara doesn't seem to irritate as some mascara's do. I think the main reason for this is that it really is smudge (and water) proof and stays on! Although I generally prefer a straight wand, the curved wand doesn't make application too tricky and definitely gives nicely defined volumised lashes.
Avon products are definitely right up there in terms of price and most certainly quality.

I recently received the Ultra Colour Bold Lipstick (in Pink Punch) and Big & Daring Volume Mascara (in black), both from Avon, in order to take the challenge and dare to try the new shades. In order to help you experiment and take your look to the next level, Avon has introduced the “Boldometer”. The idea is to figure out where your currently are on the scale (which goes from natural to divine, to dramatic, and finally to bold) in order to be bold and push yourself to the next level.
The lipstick shade I received, Pink Punch, is a gorgeous bright colour that’s perfect for summer. The lipstick has a smooth application, and the colour lasts long without smudging, which is perfect for me as I seem to spend a large portion of my day reapplying lipstick.
The mascara, which features a curved brush and promises up to 900% explosive volume, I found to be good, especially in its price range. While I did experience some volume, unfortunately I have extremely short and straight eyelashes and very rarely find mascaras which perfectly address these issues, so this mascara really didn’t make the bold statement on me that I was hoping it would.
Below, my final look with both products. On the “Boldometer” I would rate it as dramatic, as I usually hover somewhere between the natural and divine.
Altogether though I was very happy with both products, the lipstick most of all and I would definitely buy it after this, especially because of the amazing value for money.

After weeks of non-delivery due to the PO strike, I finally received my Avon Big and Daring Mascara as well as the Ultra Colour Bold Lipstick Vivid Voilet.
As i opened the colour, I was like hell NO I'm not going to wear such a bold vivid colour but not one to shy out and expirement (on the locked door of my bedroom) , I tried out the lipstick..........WOW, it looked good... great on me. I instantly fell in love with it. It glides on smoothly and the texture is smooth. Oh and I love the smell of it.
And dont get me started on the Mascara. Its lives up to the words Big and Daring.
After thinking long and hard about this, I think it’s safe to say that this is my favourite lipstick and mascara.
Go AVON..

4) Innovative collagen-enriched creme-gel formula is smooth and can be layered.
5) Water-resistant.
MY THOUGHTS:
1) Love the cute plumpish black container with the bright pink on top!
2) Container fits nicely in my hand.
3) Love the curved applicator brush! Easily cover all the lashes in one quick move of the hand!
4) This mascara can truly be layered, as my pics at the bottom will indicate. I started with 1 layer and ended with 5, which gave me almost a false eyelash appearance. BOLD & LOVELY!!!!!!
5) The mascara is truly water resistant! I got a fleck of it (after 5 layers were applied) in my eye and had to rinse my eyes with saline. Most of the mascara was still there afterwards.
6) If you are going to follow in my bold footsteps & apply numerous layers, just be careful to not get any in your eyes, especially if you are a contact lens wearer. MOST UNPLEASANT!!!
7) The mascara stayed on my lashes for most of the day!
8) The price is very competitive, even at the normal price of R129.95.
