Never did I think that I would use this but this is my must have , especially the 3 in 1 scrub
I was busy browsing and at that time about 2 year ago a lady came to me and told me why don't I try this as her daughter also had problem skin until she used this so it was a very good price considering what I use to pay so I decided to start with the starter pack and it honestly worked wonders with my skin , later I realised that I really love the 3 in one scrub , the toner and the spot control and found that those 3 together is all skin care that I need . Try this because it really does work (PS . Now and again I still do get a pimple here and there probably due to stress and hormones )
Also remember that when you do switch products it may take a while to work as it first tries to clean everything out that was there before but once it's done that you will see it starting to work .

My skin was dry and intensely breaking out to a point I was frustrated on which product to use. So I thought of trying the African Extracts rooibos purifying range after I saw reviews on this site.
I first bought the starter pack and used it for a week to see how it works. Amazingly felt my skin breathing and smooth. The product fragrance is just great to, not harsh.. so I decided to buy more under the range and honestly I see changes though I'm still dealing with pimples.
I even recommend the product to a friend and she's so amazed and happy with her skin right now.

I found out about this range when I was at clicks looking for something that can help with my oily skin , so I thought why not try it. first the packing looks nice, the smell is divine, the purifying 3-in-1 wash, mask, scrub was gentle on my skin, the toner removed all the oil and dirt that was left and the vanishing cream was moisturizing and left my skin all matte but after 3 weeks or so my skin was a little bit dry due to the vanishing cream so I had to stop using it. but overall my skin became smooth when using this products, my complexion changed(I was glowing) and I think you have acne or mild pigmentation this is the product for you.

So i have a very oily t-zone and have struggled for long trying to find a product that works well. I came across a blogger who had reviewed this range and i knew i had to try it. I must say , I was pleasantly surprised at how affordable this range is. I knew i needed a face wash, toner and moisturizer but the overall price was just too good for me not to try the whole range,so i bought every single product. I continued using only this range for about 2 months and i must say i had already noticed changes from the 1st week and i knew this would work for me. It has helped control my oily t-zone so much so that i don't struggle with it as much as before. I still use the 3 in 1 face wash, toner and daily moisturizer and will continue using it because i know it works.
For all my oily ladies, don't despair, this range will solve your problems. This right here, is your Baby!

I have large pores,so a good exfoliator is a skincare essential for me.When I came across the African Extracts Pore-clearing Facial Scrub at the drugstore AND saw the super affordable pricetag, I grabbed it with both hands.Essentially you should exfoilate once a week,but I squeeze in this skincare step 3 times on a weekly basis (yeah,yeah,I know). I lather this product on a wet face in circular motions targeting my large-pore-infested and flaky areas.I then rinse it off using a damp muslin cloth applying slight pressure under my eyes to rid that 'swollen morning face' look.I love how gentle this product is on my skin,regardless ot the fact that I use in more than the recommend 'once a week' frame.It leaves my skin squeaky clean with minimized pores.Definately worth every rand.

When I first heard of the African Extracts Rooibos Purifying Range I wanted to get my hands on them because I know how amazing Rooibos is for the skin, because of its antioxidants, it fights free radicals and just keeps your face younger.

African Rooibos Purifying- Pore clearing Face scrub
I absolutely love this face scrub. It's mild and gentle enough for everyday use. I use it every morning while in the shower so my pores are open. I gently massage it into my skin and rinse it off. After 10 days off using this scrub my skin is much softer and my acne has almost completely disappeared.
African Rooibos Purifying- 3-in-1 Wash, Scrub & Mask
I used it as a mask every 3 days. I applied it at night after washing with the African Rooibos Purifying- Facial Cleansing Bar. I smeared a thin layer onto my face and neck and left it to dry for about 3 minutes. I then used cold water to wash it off. The one thing I love about the mask is that it exfoliates your skin while you are rinsing it of due to the granules. After each use my skin felt soft, smooth and refined.

After washing my face with the African Rooibos Purifying- Facial Cleansing Bar every night I used the Spot treatment on all my visible spots as well as the bumps that I could feel under my skin yet they weren't fully visible. after 3 nights, these bumps popped out from under my skin and my skin looked clearer.

I've been using these products for the past 2 weeks & i have been loving it! My skin has been feeling so smooth, plumped & it has a real clear glow.
What i really love about all the products actually is that each of them contains natural ingredients plus the Bio Active Rooibos, showing that natural ingredients goes well with the skin.
Although i was a bit sceptical at first, because not all products work with my oily skin - this certainly did. So my skin isn't as oily as before which is another bonus.

As someone who struggles with oily skin, I often find myself in the predicament of breaking out at the most inopportune moment. Not only is it frustrating for me, but also embarrassing. Yes, I'm well aware that pimples are a normal part of being a teenager and everyone gets them (LIE! One of my friends has the clearest skin I've ever seen. It's like fine china), but it's just something that makes me self-conscious to the point where I won't even let MY FAMILY see me without makeup on.
I have been using many of the classic products since I was told about skin care (thanks mom), however I had only used one of the purifying products before. I hadn't received proper exposure to the Purifying range, and therefore had no clue how my skin would react BUT I'm always up for trying new things, especially relating to beauty.
I was sent five products from the Purifying Skin Care range to review over the course of two weeks. The products are as follows:
Facial Cleansing Bar
Pore-Clearing Face Scrub
3-in-1 Wash, Scrub & Mask
Spot Treatment
Dual-Action Moisturiser
I've used all of these products in the above order in the week that I've been using them.
1. Facial Cleansing Bar - R18.00
This little soap bar is hands down my favourite product of the five I've been trying. Not only does it leave my feeling squeaky clean and completely oil-free after using it, but also removes my makeup better than ANY makeup remover I've used in the past - EVEN my stubborn waterproof mascara. When using this, I wet the soap, rub until my hands are all suds-y and then massage my face with it. Simple. It works wonderfully and is super cheap too!
2. Pore-Clearing Face Scrub - R60.00
This scrub is INSANE. It's abrasive enough to unclog my pores, yet still gentle enough for me to apply pressure when scrubbing. The small exfoliating granules really get deep into the dirt and clear it away. My nose is looking so much better since using this - and my nose has been something I've struggled with since I hit puberty. I use it directly after the Cleansing Bar and focus it on the patches where I have enlarged, blocked pores.
3. 3-in-1 Wash, Scrub & Mask - R60.00
Whilst I enjoy this as an out of shower mask (i.e. I let it dry completely), it's my least favourite of the five products. Personally I don't like it as a scrub for my face, but it has worked wonders on my chest and shoulders, which is where I break out when stressed - and thanks to exams I'm more stressed than I've ever been before. The exfoliating beads just aren't my favourite. I don't like their feel on my face, but other than that, I like this as a mask.
4. Spot Treatment - R65.00
This little beauty. I'm in love. I've been struggling to get rid of a pimple on my forehead and one above my eyebrow for weeks now, and after two uses of the spot treatment, they were GONE! Amazing. Whilst it's not as effective on pimples that have already been squeezed (I really should stop doing that), it still speeds up the healing process. This spot treatment is worth every penny, unlike others I have tried. I apply this as soon as I exit the shower and gently tap in into my skin rather than rub.
5. Dual Action Moisturiser - R46.00
This BABE. African Extracts always gets it right when it comes to moisturisers, and this one is no different. I like to apply my moisturisers when my face is slightly damp, just to ensure that the moisture is locked in, and this one allows for that - there is no change in consistency at all despite the addition of water. I only use about a pea size of moisturiser and gently tap it into my skin using my finger tips. It may take longer, but rubbing can lead to wrinkles, which is a HUGE no-no.
All-in-all, the Purifying range has exceeded my expectations greatly. I've found products that will now have a permanent place in my skin care routine! These work wonders! I have also found that applying my makeup has become ten times easier since using these, and I don't worry as much about looking oily anymore, because these products have reduced the shininess that generally happens during the day.
Not only do the products work, but I can tell they will last because of how little you actually need to use. You pay for quality, and that's definitely what you receive when using African Extracts. 9/10 for the range as a whole is a fair rating in my opinion.

African Extract Rooibos Purifying 3-in-1 wash, scrub and mask, is the perfect product to use when you have blackheads and uneven skin ton problems. I used African Extract Rooibos when I had problems with Blackheads and uneven skin tone within a week or two my skin looked flawless
