Vitamin E Nourishing Night Cream

I was gifted with The Body Shop Vitamin E range and the Vitamin E Nourishing Night Cream was one of the products I received. The Body Shop Vitamin E Nourishing Night Cream contains rich wheat germ oil to replenish and revitalize skin while you sleep. It is very moisturising and will be perfect for winter months when skin gets very dry. It is thick but it did not break me out. However, my T-zone did get oily in the warmer months as I have combination to oily skin and I ended up having to give it to my sister. It worked really well for her. It's a bit pricey at R145 for 50ml but you can always make use of the numerous promotions offered by The Body Shop.

It lives up to its expectations - nourishing cream! Perfect for the winter months when your skin is dry. It might be a bit too oily for some people, but found to work well for me.

I got this in a birthday gift pack along with some other Body shop products years ago and still use this product today. It makes your skin feel amazing and soft.
Quite a thick cream, so a little goes a long way.

According to thier website: Night is an excellent time for our Vitamin E Night Cream because your skin can use it more effectively to fight free radicals while you sleep. Free radicals are unstable molecules that attack healthy cells in search of a needed electron. Once the healthy cell has been attacked, it loses an electron to the free radical, becoming an unstable radical itself and setting off a chain reaction. This damage leads to premature aging and disease. Antioxidants, such as vitamin E, neutralize free radicals by providing them with the needed electron and preventing them from harming healthy cells.

Cocoa butter
Is an excellent moisturizer that melts at body temperature, leaving the skin feeling soft and silky smooth.

Glycerin
Is an effective moisturizer which helps improve softness and maximize hydration.

Vitamin E
Vitamin E conditions, nourishes, and protects the skin, leaving it soft, smooth, and healthy.

Instructions:
Apply to the face and neck after cleansing and toning, using your fingertips, before going to bed.

My daughter introduced me to products from The Body Shop. Since then I have never looked back. I battled to find a really good night cream. I am turning 50 this year and have found that my skin tends to be dry in the morning. Since switching over to the Vitamin E Nourishing Night Cream from The Body Shop, I found that it restored my skin's elasticity and made it softer and smoother.

And obvously with age comes wrinkles and a constant battle for a smooth, youthful skin. Then also the constant battle to find the right night cream for your skin type.

Vitamin E Nourishing Night cream is not greasy and have a soft silky feeling once applied onto the skin. It also does not block in heat and has a very subtle fragrance. It is suitable for all skin types. I will really recommend it.
