Catrice nail polish

It's the first time I've used catrice nail polish and I'm loving it. The shade I chose is a raspberry red.. Its vibrant and eye catching. It's a nice glossy nail polish and the brush makes application so easy. Lasts a few days on my nails without a topcoat but with a top coat lasts over a week and gives my polished nails a salon effect.

I got the Catrice Ultimate Nail Lacquer 650 Goldfinger was a freebie with a magazine purchase. As standard with the Catrice Ultimate nail polishes, it has a flat professional brush which almost covers my entire nail in one stroke. This stops the nail polish from streaking. Two coats are enough for perfect coverage and three coats if you want to deepen the colour. This is an amazing nail polish to get trendy gold nails without breaking the bank.

Catrice nail lacquers are everything a girl should look for when opting for a DIY manicure!! The colours are awesome; it does not chip easily meaning it'll last longer; its easy to apply; no funky smells; does not take too long to dry; and its super glossy.

Catrice Ultimate Nail Lacquer 45 Kitch Me If You Can is an effect coat. It gives unlimited styling options in creating statement nails. You can apply it on top of your favourite nail polish or on your bare nails for a glossy finish. I like applying Kitch Me If You Can on top of Catrice The Monkey Gets Funky. It’s a perfect combo for me.

Catrice Ultimate Nail Lacquer 23 The Monkey Gets Funky has a flat professional brush which almost covers my entire nail in one stroke. The nail polish is a medium warm brown with shimmer. 2 coats are enough for perfect coverage. This colour really looks good on me in person and has become a firm favourite of mine. With a good chip resistant top coat, this nail polish lasts me a week. I usually pair The Monkey Gets Funky with Catrice Ultimate Nail Lacquer 45 Kitch Me If You Can, which is an effect coat nail polish.

I am one of those girls that can’t stand not having nail polish on my nails, so I was ecstatic to receive the Catrice 3 step system nail polish, that is longer lasting and gives a gel look finish.
The 3 step system consists of a base coat, any colour Catrice ultimate nail lacquer and a top coat.
I received “A Gallon of Melon” shade of nail lacquer which is a gorgeous pastel pink/coral colour.
The base coat is thin and fast drying and helps the nail polish to hold better and last longer on nails.
The ultimate nail lacquer applies easily with the wide brush and only needs one coat! It dries completely in less than 5 minutes. I thought it was quite shinny without the top coat even.
The top coat creates a gel shine, giving your nails that professional look finish and helping them last longer. The top coat also dries in under 5 minutes.
None of the 3 products had a very strong “nail polish smell” and no one had to evacuate the room as I was painting my nails ;)
The nail polish lasted about 4 days on my nails without chipping or fading but by the end of the 4th day I did notice a chip or two (and this is even with hand washing dishes daily) By the end of the 5th day 5 out of 10 nails had small chips, I could have got away with leaving it for a 6th day but being a little ocd it probably would have driven me crazy. I usually change my nail polish every 3 days.
I’d say if you don’t put a lot of strain on your hands like washing and cleaning etc this 3 step system would probably last about 7 days and still look good. But even 5 days is quite impressive for me!
I think the top and base coats also serve as great protection for your nails and I am hoping with continued use they will also help my nails grow a bit as they aren’t as exposed to the elements.

One of the great things about this polish is the colour and the fact that you don’t need a million coats to get a great looking manicure. I must say though that the thing that stood out the most about this polish is definitely the drying time. I really couldn't believe how quick this polish dries, literally in seconds!

Minter Wonderland is stunning, it is super pigmented, and one coat leaves no streaks. But remember to use a base coat.

I love their color range and the polish is long lasting when used with a gel topcoat.

I have so many of these catrice nail lacquers. I love the variety of colours. They are smooth polishes that go on quite easily but definitely need two coats. The brush is well shaped to fit into the corner of your nail by the cuticle and it is quite a wide brush so less strokes are required and hence quicker application.

it is not the longest lasting nail polish but you can pair it with a good top coat to make it last longer. They are not expensive and good value for money. I love these catrice polishes.

I've recently started using Catrice nail polish. I love the wide variety of colours to choose from. I love the one's with a metallic finish. The nail polish is thicker than some of the nail polishes that I've tried before, so you don't have to apply more than two layers at a time. I can highly recommend this products. It is long lasting and the colours are beautiful.
