Firstly, this foundation does not provide great coverage at all and it is near impossible to apply, as it always appears cakey and blotchy – regardless of how much moisturiser you apply beforehand. It definitely does not live up to its “Smooth Matte” name. Secondly, it claims to have sunscreen protection, but fails to specify how much protection it provides, and that just annoys me. I think it is an important factor that should be clearly presented to consumers. When the product information is not clearly presented the product just seems dodgy and suspicious to me. Thirdly, the foundation smells horrible. In fact, most of the 2True products that I have used have smelled bad. Scent is a huge factor in cosmetics, and I just cannot figure out how the 2True organisation can ignore that aspect. Finally, I found that there are only five shades of the 2True Smooth Matte Foundation and there does not seem to be a shade for dark ethnic skins. The darkest shade caters for individuals with an olive shade skin. This really is one of the worst foundations out there!
