Paco Rabanne

Paco Rabanne is a Spanish fashion designer based in France. He is one of the most unconventional designers in the world because of his use of metals and plastic in his designs. His fashion house was formally established in 1966 and he was labelled the ‘’l’enfant terrible’’ of the 1960s French fashion word.

After success as a fashion designer, Paco Rabanne teamed up with Puig Company to begin creating the first of many fragrances in 1968. Paco Rabanne Calandre was the first women’s fragrance from the brand that was launched in 1969 and it has continued to be one of the most popular. From there, a number of women’s and men’s fragrances have been released.

These fragrances include:

• The Million Range – it includes the Lady Million collection with fragrances such as Lady Million Eau de Perfum and Lady Million Absolutely Gold. There is also the men’s collection from which the female range was inspired and consists of 1 Million eau de Toilette, 1 Million Intense and 1 Million Absolutely Gold.

There are also body lotions and shower gels that are available under the Paco Rabanne Million collection.

• The Black XS Range - The female fragrance from this collection is called L’Exes for Her.
• The Classics Range – this consists of the tried and tested fragrances from Paco Rabanne that have been around since the release of the first fragrance in 1969. It consists of Calandre and Ultraviolet Woman.

Paco Rabanne fragrances can be found in selected retail stores such as Truworths, Foschini and Edgars.
