She aspired to be a performer but even though she was good at capturing the audience’s attention with her colorful stage personality, she failed as a singer. She then became the mistress of a wealthy man who showered her with diamonds and riches. It was at this point that Chanel came out with her first fragrance, Chanel No.5
Chanel products can now be found at almost any high end fashion store. A range of perfumes, handbags, wallets, earrings, clothing and shoes can be bought with her logo upon them.
