Beauty Bulletin got to spend some one on one time with International Celebrity hair Stylist Lee Stafford. This is what he had to say for himself.

1. When and where did you give your 1^st haircut?
I gave my first haircut to my father in our garage at home.

2. How long have you been involved in the hair industry?
I started when I was 16 years old and I am now 45, so I have been in the industry for about 29 years now.

3. What is your must have hair product?
A product that I am so proud of as I invented it - FLAT IRONHEAT PROTECTION MIST!

4. How did the Lee Stafford Product range come about?
The range came about very organically I must say. I wanted to develop a strong brand that would fit the gap in the market for a range of youth hair products. It took about two years to get into Boots and into the market.

5. What can consumers expect when purchasing and using Lee Stafford products?
They can expect a well developed, thought through product range. It looks pretty, smells fabulous and delivers performance.

6. Have you worked on any celebs if so who?
Yes I have worked on a lot of celebs during my 29 years in the industry. Some to name are Amy Winehouse , Agyness Deyn, Posh Spice, Avril Lavigne and the Rolling Stones.

7. Who inspires you?
I didn’t look up to any one as I started at such an early age. I gorged and got addicted and now It’s a passion and I am 29 years into perfecting hairstyles.

8.Are you going to be coming out with a range of heat styling tools?
Yes we have already overseas. The range includes irons, dryers ,mini crimpers and wands.

9. What is the spring/summer hair trend 2011/2012?
I would say street and catwalk mix! Big backcombed hair. Textured styles in anyway you can don’t be afraid.

10. How can one make their natural curls look defined the whole day?
My number one tip is TLC! Go through your hair and encourage your curls to lie when still wet. Don’t put your fingers through when your hair is dry.

11. What is your top tip for keeping your locks healthy in summer?
Dont keep changing your colour. This strips your hair. Treatments and good products are your basis for keeping hair healthy.

12. What advice can you give to women who are struggling to grow their hair?
“Dust” your hair ladies. Trim, Trim, Trim.
